What this touch-up does
Designed for clients twelve to eighteen months after their initial session, this touch-up focuses on redefining your arch and saturating pigment so brows look thicker, darker and more symmetrical. We work to preserve the semi-permanent look while refreshing tone and shape; many clients report natural, long-lasting results and more confidence after a refresh.
Before we begin, Nesrin reviews your original shape and any changes since the last appointment, including hair color shifts. Color matching and drawing the proposed brow shape are performed in a calm consultation; our Rancho Bernardo location is easy off I‑15 for commuters seeking early, evening, or weekend appointments.
How we perform refresh
During the refresh we precisely map the arch and carefully deposit pigment to deepen saturation where fading has occurred. The process balances stroke placement and overall shape so each brow reads naturally with facial proportions; outcomes depend on technique, original work, and the practitioner’s subtle adjustments to symmetry.
Several factors shape how long the refresh endures: skin type, sun exposure in San Diego’s generally sunny Mediterranean climate, and daily skincare. We see appointment spikes in May, November, and December as clients prepare for summer travel or winter social events and want pigment and shape restored beforehand.
Preparing and aftercare
To prepare, bring photos of your preferred brow shape and arrive without eyebrow makeup so we can accurately assess pigment and structure. Clients often describe the consultation and procedure as calming and relatively painless; we focus conversation on the look you want and any changes since your original microblading.
Aftercare focuses on protecting the refreshed pigment and monitoring how color settles against your skin; schedule follow-up visits as recommended so we can correct any uneven fading.
